Hey guys, thanks to everyone who subscribed to my blog! Thought I’d write this post just to give an intro about myself. My name’s Edric and I’m a light elf from the Kingdom of Arclast. I’m sending these messages through a spell that some faery friends helped me out with.
Arclast is a solid place. Its forests are rich with magic and faeries that glow like silver dust each night. I have a couple friends in the woodlands: my buddy Jeff is an elk (animals can talk in this world) and I sometimes come over to his corner of the woods so I can visit him and his boyfriend. We’ll usually smoke weed, eat berries and I make sandwiches sometimes.

Some of the animals out here have the same sentience as people but others are at a level where it’s usually not uncommon to hunt them. Jeff sometimes gets confused for a nonspeaking animal since he’s pretty introverted, but most hunters leave him alone once they realize he’s self aware.
I spend most of my downtime in the woods but it’s not actually where I live. Right now, I have an apartment in the city of Turvion. It’s not the best place and to be honest, it’s kinda cramped which is probably why I spend so much time outside. But it’s a roof over my head and a place to sleep at night.

Turvion is built from thousands of stone towers filling the castle city in their mighty watch. Each one with splendid torchlight beacons blazing from inside the windows. They have cylinder shapes and conical rooves with flags of the great noble houses at their peaks. In the lower levels, its houses are all forged from chestnut brown wooden beams, and its streets are smooth cobblestone alive with the patter of horses drawing carriages.

But it’s the people here in Turvion who are the most beautiful. The street markets are full of wizards who can turn fish into birds, bard singers performing, scores of cyclopes and fauns and elves each going about their days. The skies are always ripe with mages astride winged horses and dragons. There’s always a new story to be found no matter what part of the city you’re in!
I’m still unemployed, right now. But I do odd jobs for folks around the neighborhood and sometimes quests in the country too. Usually, I bring back trinkets, runes or whatever treasures I can find so I can sell them to other traders in the marketplace.
Anywho, thanks for reading! If you haven’t gotten bored, feel free to follow my blog!
